〈Ye Watchers and Ye Holy Ones〉由約翰・阿瑟爾斯坦・萊利（John Athelstan Laurie Riley，1858–1945）於1909年創作。全詩共有四節，依次邀請天上的眾天使、榮福童貞女馬利亞、已安息的聖徒，以及地上的教會共同頌讚三一上帝。《The Hymnal 1940》將其收入第599首，列於普通聖詩（General Hymns）部分。
1936年《普天頌讚》第154首題為《眾聖頌揚歌》，中文首句為「守望之使，聖潔天軍」。原版註明取自1931年《頌主詩集》本，未單獨列出中文譯者姓名。
